Jar & String Oil On Canvas 18 x 25 Inches 2003 Private Collection

Though the jar is clear and empty, it holds light and reflection. The string is compact and wound tightly together. Three simple objects that compliment each other in a marriage of unlikely harmony and beauty. Two opaque and the other translucent. I spent much time studying and "unraveling" this mystery of light.
